WATER QUALITY

The water quality campaign investigates polluted areas to protect the health of surfers and water bathers.

 

We take action by monthly monitoring 4 locations and analyzing the water quality and identify areas that warrant further investigation when limits are exceeded. In addition, we research the potential health impacts of high bacterial, chemical and metal concentrations.

We identify areas of concern by taking surfers health report surveys and listening to community concerns over pollution by specific industry players.

 

Surfers and water bathers have the right to clean and safe water. Communicating the results with the public is essential to protecting the health of surfers.
